Many people think of Gen Con as just being about role-playing games, but there are many other types of games represented as well as anime, science fiction, and even music. I have attended Gen Con for the last two years and each year there have been two groups, a pianist / keyboardist, and many other solo musicians.

So, I realize that Michael Jackson died a week ago and this this post is really late. However, I did not have anything new to add to the already insane level of activity on the Internet surrounding his death at that time. A book I picked up recently changed that.

Recently while doing my monthly check through coworkers’ iTunes shares looking for music that I haven’t been exposed to yet, I stumbled across a fantastic series of mash-up albums. A+D has released a "Best of Bootie" album each year since 2005 containing the best tunes played at their mash-up parties during that year.
