iTunes and Album covers
Why is it that iTunes cannot get the correct album art for CDs? I am not complaining about the times when it cannot find any album art, just the times when it gets the wrong album art.
This problem, mainly, but not always, happens when an album has been rereleased with new a new cover; I can understand when the track list is exactly the same, but in many cases new tracks were added to the album. iTunes should be smart enough to figure out which version of the album is in your library based upon the if a song is present or not, but maybe I am expecting too much.
In other cases, I have had artwork for a completely different album by a completely different artist appear. This is extremely annoying! I realize that you get what you paid for, and iTunes is mostly free, but still don’t programs go to testing these days? I am a computer programmer by trade and I know all of the code I write goes to a testing department before it leaves our doors; you would think that Apple could hire a couple of people.
