Videos from The Unravelling and Post Death Soundtrack

Recently I received and announcement from Steve with Post Death Soundtrack and The Unravelling alerting me to a video from each of these great bands. Since I didn’t feel right about keeping such great news to myself, I am sharing this information with all of you! Both videos are embedded at the end of this article, so you don’t even have to go searching for them.

Post Death Soundtrack recently released the video for "Ultraviolence" on YouTube. For those who have had trouble getting into Post Death Soundtrack in the past, I would suggest giving this a chance; while there are still Industrial Metal overtones, it a much more mainstream song than many of their other works. For those who are fans of the band, this statement shouldn’t be taken as a detraction. "Ultraviolence" still remains quite true to the band’s other works. And everyone should appreciate the high production quality in both sound and visuals that is noticeable even on YouTube.

The Unravelling’s short, but powerful video "Fire Breather" shows Tibetan monks protesting Chinese oppression via self-immolation. While the video is graphic – and probably should not be viewed by the easily unnerved – it provides a wake up call to the human rights violations going on in much of the world. If more people would stop ignoring injustice and stand up to the horrors of reality, we could end the need for such protests.
