Last.fm review
I have recently started using Last.fm to keep track of what I am listening to most often and to get recommendations for new music (or at least new to me) based upon my listening habits.
Signing up is free and there are plug-ins for most music players including iTunes and Rhythmbox to upload your listening statistics to their database. Plug-ins are also available for a wide variety of programs to display the song you are currently listening to, or songs that you have listened to in the past. In fact, if you look in the title bar of this blog, you can see what I last listened to.
If you notice that I seem to be listening to the same song or album frequently – or even on loop – it is probably because I am in the process of analyzing it for a review or comparing it to another album that I am reviewing.

Nice post! GA is also my biggest earning. However, it?s not a much.
There is a free version of Last.fm as well (which is what I use). I realize that $3.00 is not much, but the ads do not bother me so I haven’t felt the need to subscribe. I do agree that many music sites are – or at least can be – repetitive, but I tend to bounce around between several music sites during the day so that doesn’t bother me either.
Since you brought up the pay-for service of Last.fm, I have decided to post the link to their subscription page so that others can decide if signing up it is worth it to them. Personally though, I think the free site is good enough.
