Weekly Observations: 2012 Weeks 12 and 13
Music Reviews has taken off better than I had expected. I now have about 15 albums that have been sent to me for review to go through (not including the ones that I have already reviewed and albums that I have purchased). If you have sent me an album, please be patient; I will post a review as soon as I can.

Also, I heard a spot on NPR about Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita. I hadn’t realized that Rice and Webber couldn’t find producers for the musical, so they released it as a double-album first. After the record became popular, the musical was produced. This seems really odd given how popular the work is now.
