Music jokes
I just found a hillarious list of music jokes filled with music humor for those who like one-liners and "why is a…?" format jokes. Although there are some longer jokes later on as well as quotes from famous musicians.
Some of the jokes in the first section may only make sense to those who have played in an orchestra or listen to orchestral music as many of them relate to specific instruments or are comparisons of instruments. A couple was touring a cemetary in Europe where many famous people were buried. At one point they heard a familiar sounding piece of music, but something was off about it. The wife pointed out that is sounded like “Beethoven’s 9th” but played backwards.
Later, on their way back the husband remarked that he could swear that he heard “Beethoven’s 5th” being played backwards. The groundskeeper overheard and informed them that this was because they were passing Beethoven was decomposing.
