As you may have noticed by the date on my last album list posting, this is the list of purchased albums – and albums sent to me for review – from the last two months. As always, I intend to review all of these albums on Music Reviews at some point in the future.
A couple of weeks ago, Amazon announced that they were going to cancel their advertising program for sites base in Illinois (including this one). This is in response to a bill signed by Governor Quinn stating that Amazon has to start charging sales tax for Illinois.

I just noticed that I had not posted my recently purchased albums yet, and my eMusic credits arrive tomorrow so I am almost a month behind. In my defense, I have been too busy actually reviewing albums to post what I have purchased. As always, I intend to review all of these albums on Music Reviews at some point in the future.
Over the past year or two, I have noticed that – at least as far as I can tell – there is absolutely no reason to have a stand-alone music player. As, Alton Brown says about kitchen aids, you shouldn’t buy a one use item.
Yet again, I have added more than my typical number of additions this month. I found a lot of free "sampler" albums on eMusic (I haven’t even downloaded all of them yet), bought a booster pack from eMusic to try to cut down on the number of things on my to buy list, and was sent a promotional copy of "All Bad" by John Gillette for review. I have written the review for this last album, and will post it either today or tomorrow. As always, I intend to review all of these albums on Music Reviews at some point in the future.
