I had signed up to receive e-mail from Nine Inch Nails about new releases, tours, etc. in the past and today, I found in my in box a message promoting the NIN\/JA 2009 tour featuring Nine Inch Nails, Jane’s Addiction, and Street Sweeper.<\/p>\n

As part of the promotion, they are giving away a free ep via download from ninja2009.com<\/a>. This ep contains two tracks from each of the three groups – or a total of six songs for those who are reading this too late at night to do math. Overall, this is a pretty good ep and I’ll try to have a review soon on Music Reviews<\/a>.<\/p>\n Unfortunately for me – according to the list of tour dates and locations – it looks as if the nearest venue is about 3 hours away. If anyone involved with scheduling is reading this, I would definitely be interested in going if you add a date in the Bloomington-Champaign-Peroria IL region (a.k.a. Central Illinois).<\/p>\n For any fans of any of these three groups, I would definitely recommend downloading the album. As always with the Nine Inch Nails promotional albums, it may be procured in a number of formats – both lossy and lossless.
