However, the main point of this post is that I am getting really sick of Christmas music and am thankful that either tomorrow or 11 more days from now it will all go away.  I am, of course, talking about the endless loop of Yuletide cheer coming from my radio.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I am unsure as to why, but it seems that 3 or 4 stations in every market in the U.S. have to switch to playing Christmas music non-stop from the day after Thanksgiving until Christmas day or Epiphany.  It&#8217;s okay for the first few days, but after a month of hearing &quot;Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer&quot; every hour, I am getting kind of sick of it; really, there&#8217;s only so many times that I can hear &quot;Winter Wonderland&quot; without losing my mind.<\/p>\n<p>It wouldn&#8217;t be as bad if the stations either only played Christmas music for the last week of Advent or during a couple hour block each day for the entire season.  But, for the love of all that&#8217;s good if you insist on playing Christmas music non-stop, at least find some more obscure things and mix it up a bit.<\/p>\n<p>On a related note, <a href=\"http:\/\/madmadmargo.blogspot.com\/2008\/12\/wacky-wednesday-holiday-eating-tips.html\">The Screaming Me-Me<\/a> has a few culinary complaints for this festive season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>First of all, I want to wish everyon a Merry Christmas or appropriate greeting for your winter-time holiday.
