Alfa's Pop album, World Go Blue, features stunning vocals, good composition, and relatable lyrics.

The main theme of the album is interpersonal and romantic relationships. Sometimes these relationships go well, such as in "Blue" and "First Sight of Land". Other times - "Missed Opportuniy" and "Unwritten Rule" come to mind - not so much. Regardless of how well the relationship is going though, Alfa pours sincerity into each track.

The music is, for the most part, in line with the more traditional Folk inspired Pop genre. There are a couple of notable exceptions such as "Cup of Coffee" which feels a bit more like Soft Rock or Adult Contemporary and is better than most of the music played on these stations. Another departure is the Country feeling "Bergenfield, NJ".

In short, this is an exceptional album and should be in every Pop fan's collection. Many Folk afficionados will also appreciate the music and lyrics.
