Happy Hour is a humorous album packed with a mix of humorous and musical tracks.
"Martin Scorsese", "The Evil Children", "It's Saturday", and "Detachable Penis" are excellent examples of humorous offerings. "Martin Scorsese" tells the story of how a fan of the writer/director/producer will thank him if they ever meet. "The Evil Children" seems to be set in Bizarro world where bad children help old ladies. "It's Saturday" expounds upon the boredom that can occur on weekends. Finally, "Detachable Penis" follows a man on his quest to locate his lost phallus. Irony and satire abound on this album.
"(Why Are We) Trapped?", "VvV (VulvaVoid)", and "Sink" are examples of musical tracks. Even though there seem to be two distinctly different styles of music on Happy Hour, they flow together well and nothing feels out of place.
Overall, this is a good album with a few songs that are not quite up to the high standards that the rest of the album sets. While probably not an album for small children, adults who are not easily offended will probably find this album humorous.
