A couple of weeks ago Mia Mind Music send me a preview copy of The Green View's excellent Assimilation EP.

After listening through it a couple of times, I have found that the title Assimilation EP is extremely fitting. The music seems to be a folksy, bluesy, Funk, Southern Rock fusion.

Having multiple vocalists allows for great flexibility in the sound of their music. The guitar style is very versatile as well: slow ballads ("Ballad of Ballard") through Funk ("Doctor").

The messages range from despair ("Ballad of Ballard") to determination ("Race On")and everything in between. And I found that every time I listened to the songs, I heard more and more of the meaning.

Fans of Classic Rock, Blues Rock, Folk Rock, and Southern Rock should be sure to check out Assimilation EP.
