Thanks are due to Mia Mind Music for sending me Emaculent's engaging and humorous album 15 min to E.

Emaculent slipped in multiple humorous lines that require the listener to pay close attention. For instance, in his veritable encyclopedia of marijuana, $quot;Roll Up" - while discussing his smoking habits - he mentions that one particular type will "make your mouth turn red and your eyes choke". Likewise, in "Hater Song" it is proclaimed that the haters "couldn't hang with us if they brought their own noose".

While on the topic of "Hater Song", this has to be the best attitude in a song direacted at detractors that I have ever heard. Emaculent is thanking them for forcing him to do his best. In contrast, "Long Run" is about drive to succeed coming from within and thinking about how actions have an impact on the future.

My only real complaint of 15 min to E is that there is very noticeable censorship on several tracks including "Leave You Alone", "Fool Wit It", and "Whatchu Drinkin". I understand the need for censored versions of songs for radio exposure, but censorship on an album diminishes the message that the artist is attempting to convey.

This complaint aside, the album is strong overall and brings new perspectives to tried and true themes.
